Audi hands over its cars to the Real Madrid Basketball players

For six years now, Audi has been the sponsor of Real Madrid, both of the football team and of the basketball team. For that reason, a few weeks ago we had the chance to see how the Audi models chosen by the Real Madrid CF players were handed over. Now it is the turn of the basketball team players to receive the keys to theirs.

The car favoured by the members of Real Madrid’s first team has been the Audi Q8, in its 50 TDI quattro configuration. This model is equipped with a V6 TDI engine that delivers 286 CV. It is supported by a 48-volt mild hybrid system, which saves fuel and offers several advantages.

There are ten players who have chosen this model and version, specifically forwards Anthony Randolph and Trey Thompkins; centre Walter Tavares; and wings Rudy Fernández, Gabriel Deck and Fabien Causeur, plus the recent addition to the team, Alberto Abalde. Another model chosen by the players has been the Audi Q5.

This model has been chosen by Felipe Reyes, Carlos Alocén and Usman Garuba, while the Audi Q7 will enter the garage of Jaycee Carroll, who already chose it last year, and wing Jeffery Taylor. For his part, Sergio Llull has turned away from the SUV range and swapped the Audi Q8 for an Audi R8 V10 Performance, a supercar that will give him 620 CV of power.

As for the coach, Pablo Laso, he once again chooses the Audi A6 Allroad quattro, a family model that will also let him enjoy the off-road experience. This is the list of the car chosen by each player this year 2021:
