Cupra Tarraco: this is how the sporty version of the new SUV would look
Will the new Seat Tarraco receive a sporty version from Cupra? The Seat Ateca, Leon and Arona have already been adopted by the sub-brand of Seat.
The new Seat Tarraco is one of the sensations of the SUV segment. The largest crossover from the Spanish manufacturer rivals models such as the Skoda Kodiaq or the Hyundai Santa Fe, and there are already those who eagerly await the launch of a sporty version of the SUV or, why not?, of a model from Cupra based on the Tarraco.
Current Seat Tarraco: between 150 CV and 190 CV

The Seat Tarraco has been built on the MQB-A modular platform from the VAG group. At present, the large SUV from the Iberian firm offers several petrol and diesel engines with power outputs between 150 CV and 190 CV, but in the future everything points to the model receiving a spicier version. And this is where Cupra comes in.
The sub-brand of Seat seems the perfect setting for the Tarraco to receive a sporty variant. The first Cupra model to reach the market will be a sporty version of the Seat Ateca, and it seems logical to think that the Seat Tarraco could also receive a similar variant.
Rendering: this is how the Cupra version of the Seat Tarraco could look

Thanks to the designer XTomi, we can get a preview of what could be the Cupra Tarraco. Logically, this is only a rendering and in no way guarantees that this model will go into production, but logic leads us to think that it will.
Cupra models: Ateca, Leon, Arona and… Tarraco?
Cupra has already announced that it will launch sporty versions of the Ateca, Leon, Arona and potentially of a coupé-style SUV. If it becomes reality, the Cupra Tarraco would offer a sportier chassis, as well as a more aggressive design, something similar to what we can see in these images.
The same twin-turbo engine as the Skoda Kodiaq RS?

Logically we have no clue about the powertrain this SUV could have, but speculating, why not think it could incorporate the same engine debuting in the new Skoda Kodiaq RS? We are talking about a 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine that in the Czech SUV produces 239 CV. Again, these are only assumptions, but it seems logical to think that what is now a rendering could become a production model in the future.
