Ferrari 458 Italia vs Koenigsegg Agera R: a very unequal fight
A Ferrari 458 Italia takes on a Koenigsegg Agera R, with a result that is not the best given the difference in power.

Can you imagine having more than 1,000 horsepower under your right foot? We’re talking about the Koenigsegg Agera R, a supercar that is the crème de la crème of this very particular breed. Truly impressive to look at and to be inside of; without a doubt, a beast that commands respect not only from anyone who dares to challenge it, but also from the driver pilot.
On the other side, a car that is a bit better known, the Ferrari 458 Italia. Rivers of ink have been spilled over Ferrari and its cars, and we already know what it is capable of. But in this particular case it doesn’t benefit from the advantage of having 530 horsepower, since the Koenigsegg enters the fray with more than 1,000 horsepower; almost twice the raw power.

When I finished watching this video, I found myself with a rather forced smile for the “poor” Ferrari and my mouth hanging open at what the Koenigsegg puts out. The 458 had no chance, and it is always good to admit when you have lost, even when you are behind the wheel of a whole Ferrari.
Besides being able to watch the video from inside the car of the losers, we will also take a ride aboard the Swedish beast. Definitely impressive, although toward the end there is something I found strange that deserves highlighting; do you notice something odd in the sound of the Agera’s engine? And I’m not going crazy, because you can hear very clearly how it hits a rocker arm. Do you hear it too?
