Fiat e-Ulysse: the people carrier returns as an electric van
The people carrier that was part of Fiat’s line-up until 2010 has returned as an electric van, designed to serve as a shuttle.

It has been a while since we last heard about the Fiat Ulysse. This people carrier was built to transport passengers and now the Italian brand has brought it back to the market in an electric version, the Fiat e-Ulysse. It is the third electric model launched by Fiat, after the Fiat 500 and the e-Dobló.
The interior space of this new version of the people carrier can comfortably carry up to eight people. This makes it an ideal vehicle for use as a hotel shuttle or for transporting VIP guests. Its status as an electric vehicle allows it to enter the traffic-restricted zones of large cities, another major advantage that sets it apart from similar vehicles.

In addition, its compact size allows it to access underground car parks and move freely wherever a passenger car can go. It has been equipped with two battery packs, aiming to offer the most attractive solution to meet customer expectations. It features a 50 kWh battery and a 75 kWh battery, which provides a range of up to 330 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.

The motor delivers a maximum output of 100 kW, equivalent to 136 CV. With this motor it reaches a top speed of 130 km/h, more than enough to fulfil its passenger transport duties in any situation. The battery’s charging capacity is up to 100 kW, which allows the battery to reach 80% capacity in just 30 minutes with the 50 kWh battery, and in 45 minutes with the 75 kWh version.
The vehicle comes with a cable to charge the battery at an 11 kW charger, or the option of installing a MOPAR charger at the buyer’s home is also available.
Comfortable interior
The interior is designed so that passengers can travel in complete comfort. In the Club Sitting version, with seven seats, the rear section houses five seats for as many passengers. The seats have large armrests for added comfort, and between the second and third rows a folding table can be deployed for working. The Shuttle version offers eight seats.

The boot has a capacity of between 900 and 1,500 litres with all seats in use, but if they are folded down, this capacity rises to 4,200 and 4,900 litres, the first in the standard version and the second in the long-wheelbase version.
As for driver assistance systems, it comes well equipped. It includes a traffic sign recognition system, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning, among other aids. It also has five driving modes, which change the steering, suspension and traction characteristics under different traffic conditions.
There are also several trim levels, so each customer can find the version they are looking for. Reservations have already opened in Germany, France, Austria and Italy, with the first deliveries scheduled for May. It is expected to arrive in Spain soon.
