Ford Bronco Everglades: a special edition for the most adventurous

Since its launch last year, the Ford Bronco has proven to be a highly interesting base on which to develop major modifications or even special editions with an extra dose of exclusivity and performance.

During this time, the popular off-roader has starred under different names, such as the Ford Bronco DR, the Ford Bronco Raptor that we presented a couple of weeks ago, or the Hennessey VelociRaptor 400, the work of the North American tuner.

This time, Ford brings us its Bronco once again to present a new special edition named Everglades, which, in addition to being available only in the four-door body style, features numerous equipment elements exclusive to this version.

Unstoppable

First, if we take a look at the design of the new Bronco Everglades, Ford has equipped it with five colours: Desert Sand, Eruption Green, Area 51, Shadow Black or Cactus. These colours, combined with its powerful WARN winch, capable of towing over 4.5 tonnes, and its snorkel that allows it to ford rivers up to 925 millimetres deep or deliver strong performance in very dusty conditions, make it an exceptional ally for tackling any challenge.

In addition, the new Bronco rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with Goodyear off-road tyres, along with several vinyl graphics on the front fenders bearing the name of this special edition.

Inside, Ford has wanted to highlight two of its major qualities. The first is interior space, thanks to its generous cabin and comfortable driving, and the second is its easy cleaning, since you can simply hose it down after an intense day off-road, thanks to its water-resistant rubber and vinyl upholstery.

Also technologically advanced

We cannot forget its technology features, as it includes the SYNC 4 infotainment system from Ford, which consists of a generous 12-inch infotainment screen and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Its engine and price

Under the bonnet, Ford has opted for the 2.3 EcoBoost petrol engine, which produces 304 CV of power and 440 Nm of peak torque, all paired with a ten-speed SelectShift automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive.

That said, the price at which the new Ford Bronco Everglades will start to be sold is $54,495, or the equivalent of 48,096 euros at the current exchange rate.Ford Bronco Everglades
