Genesis begins sales of its premium vehicles in the Netherlands
The arrival of Genesis in the Netherlands reflects the ambition of the South Korean manufacturer to keep expanding its operations on European territory.
Genesis, the luxury brand of the Hyundai group, has taken a new step in its European expansion by officially entering the Dutch market. Just a few weeks after its arrival in Italy and France, the South Korean brand is now presenting in the Netherlands a range made up exclusively of three fully electric models: the GV60, the GV70 and the G80 -the latter two only in their electric versions-.
Unlike in Germany, where Genesis does offer combustion-engine models, in the Netherlands and in other European markets where the South Korean manufacturer has just begun operations, the commercial offer is exclusively electric.

The GV60, a compact luxury SUV renewed last year, is the entry-level model in the range. It is joined by the Electrified GV70, a larger SUV with greater performance, and the Electrified G80, an executive saloon presented as the current top of the range.
Genesis wants to carve out its place in Europe
Genesis’s strategy in the Netherlands focuses on offering competitive prices within the premium segment, very comprehensive standard equipment, high dynamic performance thanks to its powerful electric systems, wide customisation options and a customer-centred experience. All of this from 49,900 euros for the GV60, 65,400 euros for the Electrified GV70 and 74,200 euros for the Electrified G80.
In the Netherlands, collaboration with established partners such as Zeeuw & Zeeuw and Broekhuis will help build a solid dealer network and drive the sustained growth of Genesis in the country.

The year 2026 will thus go down in history as one of the most important for the expansion of the South Korean brand on the continent. After the European debut of Genesis in 2021, starting operations in Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the South Korean manufacturer has accelerated its expansion plan: Italy and France joined in February, while the Netherlands has just come on board and Spain will do so too before the end of the year.
