Hennessey H850 Mustang Dark Horse: the latest creation from the American tuner

At the end of last year, 2022, the prestigious North American tuner specialised in bringing out the most radical side of models such as the Ford F150, the Ranger Raptor, the Bronco and the Chevrolet Corvette, presented its Venom 1200 Mustang GT500, a tune with 1,217 CV under the bonnet and 1,223 Nm of peak torque. But not content with that, they have decided to take the latest generation of the Ford Mustang as a base and give it their own special touch.

Under the name H850 Mustang Dark Horse, this Hennessey arrives with a distinctive look and, as could not be otherwise, with performance of another level, as they have managed to squeeze its Coyote V8 engine up to 850 CV of power, an increase of more than 340 CV.

Radicalism built on carbon fibre

Starting with the design, Hennessey’s new kit adds a generous amount of carbon fibre to the car, fitting a new front splitter, a bonnet with a powerful air intake, new side skirts and a rear diffuser that complements perfectly the new carbon-fibre spoiler.

Decorated with two longitudinal white stripes, a side vinyl in the purest Mustang Boss 302 style and a number 1 on the flank as the main feature, the new Hennessey has also received new forged wheels in black as the cherry on top of this genuine muscle car.

Modifications under the bonnet

Turning to the mechanical side, the Mustang Dark Horse has received a series of modifications, such as a high-performance supercharger, a high-flow air intake system, higher-capacity injectors and a reprogramming carried out by HPE Engine Management.

With all of this, the Hennessey H850 produces no less than 850 CV of power and 880 Nm of torque, sent to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual gearbox or a 10-speed automatic.
