What can we expect from this new Hispano Suiza? The announcement explains that this supercar model will be manufactured in Barcelona and that it will have “high performance”. The history of Hispano Suiza

Founded in 1904 in Barcelona by Damián Mateu Bisa, Francisco Seix Zaya and Marc Birkigt, the Hispano Suiza brand developed its activity in the automotive, aviation, naval, military and transport vehicle, and armaments sectors. Today, the Spanish car company is owned by Grup Peralada, which has businesses in the leisure, culture, winemaking and industry sectors.

At the beginning of the 21st century, the Spanish company tried to relaunch its activity in the automotive sector. The engineering firm Mazel and Hispano Suiza reached an agreement to develop a two-seater supercar model (HS21) in 2000. Over the following two years, evolutions of the aforementioned model were presented: K8 (2001) and HS21-GTS (2002).
