Honda Civic 2022: the Japanese compact gets a sportier look signed by Mugen
The almost newly launched Honda Civic has received a new body kit from the iconic tuner Mugen, with a more sporty and very subtle look

The eleventh generation of the Honda Civic, unveiled just a month and a half ago and debuting with the brand’s new hybrid propulsion system, has just received a new look signed by the tuner Mugen, a company that since its beginnings has been closely linked to the Japanese brand.
Following the launch of a new body kit for the new Honda HR-V, Mugen has once again been at it, but this time with the quintessential compact from Honda as the star, equipped with numerous elements that give it a much sportier and more appealing look.
More character
At the front, Mugen has added a new lower splitter in black which, together with the standard grille on the new model featuring a hexagonal honeycomb pattern and the new LED headlights in a fairly flat arrangement, give it a more aggressive appearance.

The side also features, as a major novelty, a new skirt that makes the car look more planted to the ground, as well as new forged aluminium wheels of 18 inches exclusive to this kit and wind deflectors on the windows, which together give a more muscular look.
At the rear, where we find the most new elements, there are inserts on the sides of the bumper joined to the standard diffuser. A new sports exhaust system has also been introduced, with two oval outlets that are somewhat more traditional than those on the standard model and which, in our opinion, suit it better. Added to this, and to complete the rear, a rear spoiler has been fitted to round off the ensemble.

Detailed launch in September
Mugen has announced that there will also be new features and modifications inside, which will be revealed on 5 September, so these images are a taster of what the tuner will present next month.
With that launch, Mugen will also confirm whether the new body kit can also be fitted in our continent to the recently launched Honda Civic with the 2.0-litre hybrid of 160 CV or the 1.5-litre turbo, also hybridised, of 182 CV.
