Hyundai i20 N Sport, more sporty
Yesterday we learned that Hyundai would unveil its N division at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show , a key event for the European automotive industry, which opens its doors on September 15th. This new division will be responsible for producing high-performance vehicles designed for both track and road use, and will be the product of the Korean brand's extensive experience in motorsport, particularly in the FIA World Rally Championship, where it competes with the Hyundai i20 WRC.
The first vehicle to roll out of the N division is the Hyundai i20 N Sport , a sportier version of the B-segment hatchback. Aesthetically, it features bodywork changes thanks to a sport kit consisting of a front splitter, side skirts, and a redesigned rear apron incorporating a small diffuser and a circular stainless steel exhaust outlet. A roof spoiler completes the package, along with newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels and various N badges distributed across the tailgate and front fenders.

Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 N Sport features a 1,4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 115 hp and 160 Nm of torque thanks to multi-point fuel injection. This tuned engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels.
As for the suspension, the i20 N Sport features a new complete kit that lowers the ride height, improving the center of gravity, stability, and grip. In terms of safety, all four wheels are equipped with anti-lock brakes (ABS) and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). A full set of ventilated disc brakes is available for the front axle, while the rear features solid discs.
