Is this the terrible look of the new BMW M4?!

Our worst suspicions about the terrible front grille of the new BMW M4 are very likely to come true…

Today we share with you a render of the new BMW M4, made by an Instagram user called “ze.o.wt” where we can see what will almost certainly be the final look of the model.

This claim gains strength, especially when several spy photos that leaked recently showed us the manufacturer’s terrible decision to give it such an ugly front end.

Each to their own… right?

In the end, giving an opinion on something as personal as looks is very personal, however, when something stands out so much, like this enormous grille with a design so… well, let’s leave it there, we find it hard to imagine that many people will appreciate this design.

The render we share with you today perhaps exaggerates the final product a little. After all, as you can see in the spy photos, the grille looks very large, yet perhaps not so horrible, thanks in part to the motifs used to give it personality.

We can also enjoy a render of its rear, much more correct and which sticks with the brand’s classicism, and it’s that many times it’s better to stick with what works when the new proposal, quite clearly, seems to disappoint most of the public.

Returning to the rear of the new BMW M4, we find a much more traditional design, with the already classic configuration of the 4 exhaust pipes, this time accompanied by a bumper in the same colour as the rest of the vehicle.

Of course, its performance, capabilities and, in short, its performance will remain outstanding. We all know that even though the design is somewhat controversial, what will never let us down in a BMW is its dynamism and quality. A prestige earned over years with outstanding models.

Under the bonnet we find a 3.0 twin-turbo engine producing 473 CV, which, according to the latest leaks, could reach 503 CV. In other words, expect plenty of power.

Another very interesting novelty is that this M4 will incorporate the famous x-Drive system, very common in the brand’s larger models. This means that, as standard, it will have all-wheel drive, however, this same system will allow us to change it to enjoy the rear-wheel drive of old. Honestly, if we had to choose between the two, why not keep both?, without a doubt, a point in favour of BMW.

We hope, however, that BMW modifies a little the look of the new M4 at the front, which, as could already be seen since the prototype was presented some time ago, didn’t appeal to too many people…
