Just in case that wasn't enough, ABT has created the Audi RS5-R: brutality made into a car
The Audi RS5 has been through the hands of ABT, resulting in the RS5-R. This model delivers 530 CV of power and 690 Nm of torque, making it the fastest A5.

There comes a point where it seems no further progress is possible, when the signatures have reached their limit, but that is not the case. ABT once again shows that it is capable of breaking every mould and pushing any vehicle that passes through its hands beyond its limits. This time, the brand with the four rings takes centre stage once more, specifically the new RS5 has been chosen to undergo a series of operations.
The Audi RS5 comes with standard features that dangerously bring it close to the world of supercars, but ABT has wanted it to go beyond that barrier. Without a doubt, the German coupé presents itself as a versatile vehicle, capable of offering a perfect balance between comfort and sportiness, but with this series of modifications the RS5 leans more towards its radical side, offering its customers the chance to claim victory on any circuit.
As standard, we find a 2.9-litre V6 engine that replaces the naturally aspirated V8 of the previous generation. The RS5 is capable of delivering 450 CV and 600 Nm of torque, figures that put it in direct competition with the BMW M4 and the Mercedes C63 AMG Coupé. However, ABT has wanted to make a big difference and, thanks to a series of modifications, the Audi RS5 is able to outperform many vehicles from higher segments.

Specifically, the RS5-R is capable of delivering 530 CV and 690 Nm of torque, and these figures mean that the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 3.6 seconds, compared with the 3.9 seconds it quotes when leaving the factory. To achieve these numbers, the German tuner has made modifications to the engine ECU and the exhaust system, among others. In addition to increasing power and torque, the RS5-R is capable of producing a much catchier melody from its twin-turbo V6.
On the exterior there are also a number of differences, such as 19-inch wheels and a much more aggressive diffuser. The main difference is that, instead of housing the two oval outlets characteristic of the RS models, ABT has fitted four cylindrical outlets that give the RS5 a more radical look. On the other hand, the splitter has also undergone changes, which match the overall look of the car.

Without a doubt, the RS5-R presents itself as an ideal vehicle for fans of the model who miss a little more sportiness. ABT is an expert in this field, and has perfectly squeezed out every last ounce of power hidden in this exclusive RS5, which is limited to just 50 units.
