Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, the Italian supercar bows out in grand style
The latest version of Lamborghini’s flagship bows out as the most powerful in the model’s history, and with great elegance

The Lamborghini Aventador was first unveiled in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. After ten years and more than 10,000 units sold of this model, the time has come to say goodbye. And what better way to do so than with a new, more powerful version that surpasses the SVJ, combined with the subtle, elegant styling of the Aventador S.
Production of this supercar will be limited to just 350 units in coupé form and 250 more in roadster version. This Ultimae will be the last to carry the naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, as the Italian brand’s new roadmap indicates that its next supercar will feature hybrid technology.
The new Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae wears a two-tone grey colour scheme with lines and details running along the entire bodywork in Rosso Mimir matt finish. All of this, of course, without forgetting carbon fibre, an element that could never be absent from a car of this brand.

Not only is it the most powerful, it is also the lightest, weighing 1,550 kilos in coupé bodywork, 25 kilos less than the elegant Aventador S and the radical SVJ.
Subtly elegant
The front features a new bumper specifically designed to increase aerodynamic downforce on the front axle, and the model’s iconic side air intakes and grille redirect airflow to cool the engine and radiators.

Its rear also features a new active spoiler that changes position as required by the situation to ensure the car’s overall balance.
The forged alloy wheels Silver Dyanthus in 20 and 21 inches on the front and rear axles respectively come as standard on the model, although Lamborghini offers the Dianthus, Leiron and Nireo models in bronze, black and titanium finishes in its catalogue, which will be shod with Pirelli PZero Corsa tyres.

In addition to the two-tone grey configuration in which it has been presented, three colour options are available: white, silver and bronze, which can be accompanied by an extensive range of shades for both the brake calipers and the monoblock wheel nuts of each wheel. The roadster version is launched in Blu Tawaret and Blu Nethuns, accompanied by a gloss carbon fibre roof.
Extensively customisable interior
Inside, a wide variety of configurations is offered for the seats, doors and dashboard thanks to the Lamborghini Ad Personam programme. Alongside this is the digital instrument cluster, where we can select the four available driving modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa and Ego), and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay compatibility and a telemetry system for those who wish to make the most of this machine on the track.

V12 the old-fashioned way
As we have already mentioned, this new Aventador Ultimae features a naturally aspirated V12 engine of 6.5 litres that produces no less than 780 CV, ten more than the Aventador SVJ, which until now was the most powerful version. This machine is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 350 km/h and revving beyond 8,500 rpm.
The in-person debut of the latest version of the Aventador will take place at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be held in the United Kingdom from 8 to 11 July.
