Mercedes G500 4×4², armored and daring for the boldest
Two companies specializing in armoring different types of vehicles have worked on the Mercedes G500 4×4² to fit it with very strong armor

The Mercedes G500 4×4² is an exceptional off-road vehicle that takes on any challenge that comes its way. But now it goes one step further, because the vehicle armoring company Gruna, in collaboration with Armored Car Systems, has created the Enok P1, based on a Mercedes G500 4×4² adapted to match the units used by the German Armed Forces.
According to the manufacturers, this vehicle is built to withstand the impact of assault rifle bullets and even anti-tank mines. In terms of styling, it is very striking, with a powerful look that matches its specific capabilities.

The armor has been designed to offer good protection so you can travel safely in this off-road vehicle, while still keeping all the advantages of the German brand’s luxury off-roader. It has also been fitted with armored wheels, which withstand gunfire and the effects of explosions. The armor has one drawback, and that is its considerable weight.

This weight may put the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 416 CV under strain. It is the same engine fitted to the standard model, so although the weight has increased considerably, the performance characteristics remain the same. This means the Mercedes G500 4×4² Enok P1 will not deliver the same performance. Although, of course, it is not a car designed for racing, but for moving freely over difficult terrain.
And we have talked about comfort, because driving this armored vehicle is not at odds with comfort. The luxury and comfort of the standard model have been retained for this purpose. Many carbon fibre elements, black leather and Alcantara surfaces. A premium infotainment system, as it could not be otherwise, and of course, a price that has not yet been revealed and which we already know will push the price of the traditional model to very high levels.
