New Porsche Taycan GTS: the first Porsche electric with more than 500 km of range
The GTS version of the Porsche Taycan, with 598 CV of power, becomes the first electric Porsche capable of exceeding the 500 km range barrier in the WLTP homologation cycle.

Porsche has unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show its new Porsche Taycan GTS, as well as the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo, a body-style variant equivalent to the Taycan Cross Turismo. In terms of power and price, these versions sit within the range between the Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo.
Remember that all versions of the Taycan have recently received an update which, among other things, has allowed them to slightly improve their range. You can read our road test of the Porsche Taycan 4S here, and our first drive of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo.
Taycan GTS: Gran Turismo Sport… electric
In the case of the Taycan GTS, the range exceeds 500 km for the first time in an Porsche electric, with a homologated 504 km on a single battery charge. With 598 CV of power with overboost using Launch Control, the Taycan GTS is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, regardless of body style. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

Other distinctive features of the Taycan GTS are the specific adaptive damping settings of Porsche Active Suspension Management, as well as those of the rear-axle steering (optional). The sound emitted by the Porsche Electric Sound system has also been modified to make it sportier.
Among the design details, dark-toned finishes stand out on elements such as the front apron, the window frames, or the base of the mirror housings. For the cabin, Race-Tex upholstery in black and the brushed black aluminium pack, finished in anodised black, are adopted.

A new option offered on the new Taycan GTS is the panoramic roof with sunlight control. Until now, the Taycan’s panoramic roof had no sunshade for sunny days. With this system, occupants are protected from the sun without darkening the interior, thanks to a liquid crystal film that can switch the roof from fully transparent to matte.
The prices for the Spanish market of the new Taycan GTS start at 135,264 euros, and from 136,232 euros in the case of the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. Arrival at dealerships is planned for next spring.
