New Toyota Proace TMPR, the perfect ally for transporting people with reduced mobility
Toyota has added the new Proace and Proace City to its model range, two adapted vehicles designed for transporting people with reduced mobility

Toyota Spain, together with its Toyota Se Adapta programme, has just expanded its range of models dedicated to transporting people with reduced mobility (TPMR) with two new vehicles perfectly adapted for this purpose: the new Toyota Proace TMPR and the Proace City TMPR.
Both versions differ from the other models in the Proace family in that they are adapted and modified to transport people in their wheelchair easily and comfortably, thanks to their ample interior space.
Several configurations available
The new Proace City TMPR is sold in two different variants: one with a lowered floor and another with a lowered floor plus two folding seats, and you can choose between the Combi VX or the Family, both available in either medium or long body versions.
This new adaptation, aimed at private customers or transport services for healthcare centres and residences, includes a lowered floor in the third seating zone, a manual ramp that folds, anchor points and a belt for the wheelchair and, in the case of the long version, two folding seats on the side of the vehicle manufactured by the specialist Triflex.

In this way, the medium body variant offers space for four more seats plus the specific place for the person in a wheelchair, and the long body version offers space for up to 7 occupants when no wheelchair is transported, or 5 more plus the wheelchair.
The Proace TMPR is also offered in two trim levels, like the City, called Shuttle and Family, which can be equipped in both the medium and long body versions. In the case of adaptations such as eurotaxi, they must have a lowered floor by regulation; however, those intended for private individuals may have a lowered or standard floor.
Four different packs for private individuals
The Pack 1 offers a fixed manual aluminium platform measuring 760x2000mm, an anchoring system and a seat belt. The Pack 2 includes a K1200 Ricon lift platform measuring 760x2000mm and an anchoring system and seat belt. The Pack 3 option comes with a lowered floor in the third seating zone, a folding manual ramp, anchor points and a seat belt. Finally, the Pack 4 includes a lowered floor in the third seating zone, a folding manual ramp, anchor points, a seat belt and the two side seats from Triflex.

For eurotaxi adaptations, two packs available
The Pack 1 is exactly the same as Pack 3 for private individuals, but with a right-hand side step with a handrail, specific signage on the ramp, step and handrails, an LED light in the wheelchair anchoring area, a fire extinguisher under the front passenger seat, a puncture repair kit under the driver’s seat and pre-installation of a speed signal take-off.
The Pack 2 adds to everything included in Pack 1 the two folding seats already mentioned, developed by Triflex.
The new Toyota Proace TMPR eurotaxi is sold as standard with the identifiers specific to each city where the vehicle operates, whether in Madrid, Barcelona or wherever the corresponding location may be.
