Pagani Huayra Epitome: the supercar with a manual gearbox and V12 engine

The roar of the engine in the open air, the feeling of absolute connection with the machine through the gear lever and the adrenaline of taming 852 CV of power with no electronic safety net. That is what the Pagani Huayra Epitome offers, a hypercar unique in its kind that breaks every mould of the Italian marque.

Far removed from series production, the Huayra Epitome springs from the magic of Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division, which specialises in building bespoke vehicles for clients with enormous dreams. In this case, the wish was clear: a Huayra with the soul of a racing car and the essence of pure driving, embodied in a seven-speed manual gearbox by Xtrac.

To accompany this feat of engineering, Pagani fitted a new triple-disc clutch to guarantee superior torque transmission, which translates into an incredible response. An electronically managed differential and a triple-articulated suspension system derived from competition also join the equation to deliver the engine’s maximum response.

A V12 heart with German DNA

Behind the cabin roars a powerful 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12, sourced from AMG but reinterpreted by Pagani’s craftsmen. This mechanical jewel delivers 852 CV of power and 1,100 Nm of torque, enough to propel the Epitome to a top speed electronically limited to 350 km/h.

Pagani’s engineers have completely reworked the suspension geometry, achieving more precise and stable handling. The system reduces front dive under hard braking, squat under strong acceleration and roll in corners. An active suspension system with a “supersoft” mode, ideal for uneven roads, is also fitted.

The most beautiful and most aerodynamic dress

The Huayra Epitome is a work of art both inside and out. The carbon fibre bodywork in blue, light yet strong, is merely the canvas for a series of unique aerodynamic elements.

A new front bumper with integrated splitter increases downforce, while larger air intakes and new internal ducts ensure optimal cooling. Exclusive front lights reinforce the vehicle’s distinctive character.

As we trace the Epitome’s silhouette, we find ventilated front wings and a redesigned tail with an integrated spoiler. Aerodynamic covers for the rear lights and a titanium exhaust with six outlets complete the ensemble, offering perfect harmony between form and function.

An interior to match

The cabin is trimmed in carbon fibre, a material that combines lightness with elegance. The forged monolithic aluminium wheels, inspired by an Imola coupé owned by the client, are an example of the level of personalisation Pagani offers. These ultralight wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres, prepared to unleash the vehicle’s full potential.
