SEAT León previews its interior ahead of its presentation on January 28
The new generation of the SEAT León will be presented on January 28, and to build anticipation for its arrival, the Spanish brand is showing a short teaser featuring the lighting

SEAT continues to make waves with new proposals and brings new surprises that will arrive as soon as 2020 begins. The first of them will be the presentation of the SEAT León in its new configuration. The fourth generation of the Spanish compact will have a new platform on which to mount the rest of its components. The updated MQB platform, which is also used in the Volkswagen Golf and the Skoda Octavia, will shape the new León.
It is still early to see details of the new generation of the Spanish model, but SEAT wanted us to get a small preview of what awaits us with this new SEAT León. They have focused on the lighting system, which has quite a few interesting features and gives it a completely innovative character.

An innovative lighting system
SEAT wanted to give it an innovative touch and has used lighting, both inside and outside, to give it a different, modern and up-to-date look. To begin with, it is curious that when approaching the car, a light projects a message that can be read on the ground. The word “Hello” welcomes the driver, but that is not all.
At the front it features new LED headlights, something it also offers at the rear, where a thin line of LED lights connects both rear light units. All of this creates a light signature that aims to stand out from its rivals. But interior lighting is also important in the new SEAT León.

On entering, the driver will notice the ambient lighting running along the dashboard and doors. The three-spoke sports steering wheel has a digital screen displaying customizable instrumentation, and to its right is the infotainment system screen. Its updates are carried out remotely, so no cable connection is required.
The gear selector is in the centre, and as we can see in the video, there is a storage space, which could be where the higher trims of the range will have a hypothetical induction charger for mobile devices.
The top version of the range will be the CUPRA León, and it is expected to offer two engine options: a 2.0 TSI engine with a power output of up to 300 CV, and a plug-in hybrid with 240 CV that will allow it to run in pure electric mode for 50 kilometres.
