Karoq Skoda Salón de París SUV
Škoda Karoq Scout, the most rugged version of the Czech SUV we will see at the Paris Motor Show
Škoda expands the Karoq range with the new Scout version, featuring an outdoor-inspired look and more standard equipment. It will be presented at the Paris Motor Show

In just a few months, the smallest SUV from the Czech brand, the Škoda Karoq, will mark one year since sales began in our country, and it is gradually expanding its family and, consequently, the range on offer to its customers. The Karoq range now grows with the Scout version, which will be presented worldwide in October during the Paris Motor Show.
The Škoda Karoq Scout follows the trend we already know from other models in the brand, such as the Kodiaq Scout and the Octavia Scout, which simply means offering a more outdoor-oriented look and greater standard equipment. It should be noted that all the changes made, like the rest of Škoda’s Scout versions, focus on improving its styling rather than modifying the vehicle for driving on even more rugged terrain.

Likewise, we will have an SUV better suited to those who want to enjoy it more off the beaten track, especially since the Škoda Karoq Scout comes as standard with permanent four-wheel drive, which can be combined with three engine options. On one hand, there is the 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 150 CV, paired with the seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox; on the other, there is the 2.0-litre diesel, also 150 CV but with a six-speed manual gearbox, although the seven-speed DSG will be available as an option, and, as the most powerful diesel option, the same 2.0 TDI engine with 190 CV, paired exclusively with the DSG automatic gearbox.
Exterior styling sets it apart from the rest of the range through several elements: it makes use of chrome and silver finishes on the lower part of the front and rear bumpers, the side skirts, the door frames and the roof rails; in addition to tinted rear windows, Scout badging on the front wings and 18-inch “Braga” alloy wheels. Optionally, these wheels can be replaced by the “Crater” model in anthracite colour and 19 inches.

Moving to the interior, standard equipment also includes specific upholstery with the Scout logo embroidered on it and brown and black contrast stitching, as well as a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, an LED ambient lighting package and the Virtual Cockpit, configurable to each driver’s preference.
