SsangYong Tívoli Grand Coches GLP/GNC ECO SUV
SsangYong Tívoli Grand: a family SUV with plenty of space and LPG versions
With the Tívoli Grand, SsangYong once again offers a version aimed at those who need a large boot and want to enjoy the advantages of LPG-powered cars

The SsangYong Tívoli XLV now has a successor with a new name: the new Tívoli Grand takes the place of the compact SUV from Korea that launched in 2016, and benefits from all the aesthetic and technical improvements the current Tívoli received in 2019.
With dimensions of 4.48 metres in length, 1.81 metres in width and 1.65 metres in height, the Tívoli Grand remains compact in size, but lives up to its name when it comes to accommodating passengers and, above all, luggage. The boot capacity, which features a double floor and can be divided using the two sections into which the floor is split, reaches 574 litres when loaded up to the parcel shelf, and 720 litres when using the space up to the roof.
With the second row of seats folded down, capacity rises to 1,440 litres, and the available length even allows a bicycle to be carried without removing the wheels. These seats have reclining backrests, which improves passenger comfort on long journeys.

There are no changes compared with the Tívoli in terms of the interior or equipment options. The range is structured around four trim levels: Line, Urban Plus, Premium and Limited. The most interesting is the Urban Plus, which adds to the entry-level trim a dual-zone climate control, rain and light sensors, a rear camera, an 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system, fog lights and alloy wheels.
SsangYong Tívoli Grand engines: petrol and LPG
The engine available for the Tívoli is also the same as its sibling in the range. It is a modern 1.5-litre 4-cylinder direct-injection unit with turbocharging, producing 163 CV and a maximum torque of 280 Nm between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm. An engine that moves the Tívoli Grand very well, even when its load capacity is fully used, with a noticeably responsive throttle and good pulling power. Buyers can choose between a manual gearbox or a torque-converter automatic gearbox, both with six speeds and always with 4×2 traction. The automatic gearbox costs 1,500 euros extra.

As has traditionally been the case across the SsangYong range, this engine can be specified with an LPG conversion, allowing it to display the ECO label from the DGT. These LPG versions carry a surcharge of 2,150 euros, but are attractive both for the benefits of the ECO label and for the lower cost per kilometre, since you need to drive very smoothly and in very favourable conditions to get close to the Tívoli’s homologated consumption of 7.2 l/100 km.
The SsangYong Tívoli Grand comes with a promotional discount of 2,000 euros on all versions, bringing the starting price to 17,990 euros for the Line trim, 20,400 euros for the Urban Plus, 21,500 euros for the Premium and 23,860 euros for the Limited. A further discount for financing can be added to this, amounting to 1,700 euros on the Line trim and 1,000 euros on the rest of the range.
