The 2020 Hyundai i10 will be more dynamic and stylish
The new Hyundai i10 will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show and will feature lines that are more “energetic and agile”, according to the brand itself.

An official sketch of the upcoming 2020 next Hyundai i10 has just been published. This city car will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next September. Like all sketches of this kind, it is overly stylised, and the real vehicle will not have the same dramatic and aggressive proportions.
That said, it gives us a good idea of its new “face”. The brand says it has an “energetic and agile” look, and we are willing to agree.

The front of the new Hyundai i10 2020 features a bold new grille design that includes circular fog lights in each corner. There are also angular air intakes at the ends of the bumper and new sharp-edged light clusters.
“The new Hyundai i10 has a young, dynamic design that stands out in the A-segment. Its wide front grille expresses a sporty character and incorporates daytime running lights, thus continuing this feature of the i10’s heritage,” Hyundai described in a press release.

2020 Hyundai i10, the city car gets modernised
The South Korean brand has confirmed that the new Hyundai i10 will come with advanced technologies as standard, such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with a front radar sensor, Driver Attention Warning and Lane Keeping Assist System. The new city car will also come with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and a rear-view camera.
The updated Hyundai i10 will most likely be sold exclusively with a range of three- and four-cylinder engines. One of them could be the turbocharged 1.0 T-GDI three-cylinder with 100 CV from the Hyundai i30, but it could also be available in another version with 120 CV as in the new A-SUV, the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine with 83 CV and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel with 90 CV, with a 5-speed manual gearbox for petrol and a 6-speed for diesel, or an optional CVT.

The new Hyundai i10 will arrive in the second half of 2020 and is also wider, longer and lower, adopting a less upright format than the current model, while the rear remains so camouflaged that only part of the LED lights can be seen. Seen from the side, the new A-segment model from Hyundai adopts a more natural style, with a completely new waistline and door shapes, as well as the tailgate with LED-equipped light clusters, a design that follows the styling canon of its bigger sibling, the Hyundai i20.
The new Hyundai i10 will feature a new interior, based on that of the Hyundai Venue SUV, with greater emphasis on the centre console, a new touchscreen and an infotainment system with the “Blue Link” platform.
