The Alpine A110 R already has a price for Spain... and you're not going to like it one bit
The Alpine A110 R goes on sale in the Spanish market at a price of 107,000 euros, which means more than 31,000 euros extra compared with the A110 S, which also has a 300 CV engine

Without a doubt, the Alpine A110 is one of the best sports cars launched onto the market in recent years. And you don’t need to go for the most powerful versions: from the entry-level variant in the range, with its 252 CV, driving fun is guaranteed. The new Alpine A110 R is… something else. It takes sportiness to another level; it is almost a road car prepared to wear a race number… and never leave the circuits.
Here we tell you in detail what makes the Alpine A110 R so special, although we can also summarise it briefly: 34 kg less than the A110 S, optimised aerodynamics, a specific chassis setup… But today we’re going to talk about the price and equipment of this very special version, since the order window has just opened in our market. And the bad news is that the Alpine A110 R is not cheap at all…
Alpine A110 R price: a real “indulgence”
Take note: 107,000 euros. Not a euro more or less. That is what the A110 R costs, which, running the numbers, means 31,200 euros more than the A110 R… (more precisely, than the A110 S). Objectively judging whether that price premium is justified is quite complicated. I’ll tell you straight away that I would “settle” for the basic A110. Or, if you pressed me, even the GT, the most affordable version with the 300 CV engine. But there is one component that will surely make the A110 R a very sought-after car, beyond the fact that we are looking at a sports car capable of checkmating a whole Porsche 718 Cayman: it is almost a vehicle that will become highly coveted in the future by enthusiasts and collectors.

Let’s briefly go over the standard equipment of the A110 R, because it’s worth it. These are some of its most interesting distinctive features: red brake calipers, high-performance braking system, Focal multimedia system, aluminium pedals, French flag on the rear pillars and inside the door, carbon fibre wheels with semi-slick tyres, Alpine Telemetrics system, microfibre-upholstered roof and Sabelt Track sports seats.

But if you have budget left and want to personalise the car even further, there is still room in the options catalogue. You can choose from four more colours for the brake calipers (blue, yellow, red or silver) for 410 euros, floor mats with the Alpine logo and blue stitching for 128 euros… or 8 body colours, with prices from 885 euros for basic grey or blue, around 2,000 euros for Fire Orange or Alpine Blue… and up to the 6,288 euros that Razing Blue Matt costs.
