The Audi A4 is updated for 2019 and becomes more technological
Technology will be present in the new update of the Audi A4, which will feature more technology to take on its rivals and offer more performance

The year 2018 is about to end, and car manufacturers are preparing new models that will surprise us in the coming months. In other cases, these are only minor changes meant to update their more classic models. In the case of the Audi A4, the brand already presented some design modifications this summer, but now it has wanted to increase its equipment ahead of next year, 2019.
The changes have a lot to do with the technology found inside the cabin, which will make the Audi A4 a more than worthy rival to models such as the Mercedes Class C and the BMW 3 Series, natural rivals of the Audi A4 that have nonetheless surpassed it with new generations. Let’s look at what these changes consist of.

To begin with, the exterior look of the model is going to be replaced, bringing it closer to the appearance of the new Audi A6 and Audi A8. Although the spy images that have been revealed of the model show a facelift, there may also be a deeper change in the architecture of the model. Using the same platform as the Audi A6 will allow the technology to change and be equipped with more efficient technology.
For example, the MMI infotainment system will replace the main screen with an 8.8-inch screen as standard equipment, while buyers who prefer it will be able to add a 10.1-inch screen to better control the entire system. In addition, it will feature an 8.6-inch auxiliary screen. The instrument cluster will also be housed in a screen.
In this case it will be a 12.3-inch screen, making the cabin technologically superior to its rivals. This whole battery of technological innovations will arrive in a few months, along with others about which we still do not have full information. Whether Audi introduces improvements to the engines is still in doubt, although we will be able to learn more in a short time. The “real” change will come when the new generation enters the market and the model is worked on to improve it.
