The BMW Serie 7 now fully shows its renewed bodywork and delivers everything it promised
After several teasers, the renewed BMW Serie 7 reveals its new look, where a massive grille dominates the front and takes centre stage

We are quite excited about the debut of the new BMW Serie 7, of which we have been able to see some images. What impressed us most from those first images was the massive look of the double-kidney grille. Far from adopting a more conservative image, the designers of the German brand have given it much more prominence, and in this bodywork redesign it occupies the entire central section in a far more present way.
The new BMW Serie 7 presents a more striking appearance, with that enormous grille asserting its dominant presence. This can be seen in a series of images showing a grey BMW 750 Li with a more pronounced wheelbase. In addition, it has also shown us images of the interior, something we were missing, and which shows how this model comes closer to the BMW Serie 8, with a 12.3-inch screen and a 10-inch screen for the infotainment system.

But let us turn to the bodywork, which is where the work has been done to make this facelift more visible. The size of the double-kidney grille has grown by up to 50% compared with its predecessor. As a result, the front is 55 millimetres taller, and the car gains a presence that makes it far more interesting. The option of headlights with BMW Laser technology remains available, but the standard headlights have improved in design, with finer finishes. The front end is completed by two air intakes fitted with painted deflectors and chrome-trimmed edges.
If the front is interesting, the rear is no less so. Its design has been modified to match the rest of the model, and the rear lights have been refined. The light strip between the two rear light clusters measures 6 mm and gives a very elegant luminous finish when seen from behind. The exhausts also gain in design and blend into the whole to continue offering the elegance and style with which the BMW Serie 7 is replete.

BMW Serie 7 2019
A luxurious interior for a model with style
The interior of this renewed BMW Serie 7 features Nappa leather upholstery with more pronounced padding, decorative wood trim and ambient lighting that gives a higher-contrast look. Together they create a cabin where luxury and exclusivity are truly impressive. In addition to the instrument display we have already mentioned, it has a multifunction steering wheel, and technology is present in the form of a wireless phone charger and an improved information and entertainment system. In this case, it includes multimedia screens for the rear seats.
The cabin soundproofing improves with the addition of acoustic glass in the windows and rear windscreen, which greatly enhances comfort in the cabin. Driving is also more comfortable thanks to improved suspension and damping, which allow a more pleasant and light-feeling behaviour. On top of all this, there is an extensive range of engines that makes this luxury saloon a very interesting option. Among the choices is also a plug-in hybrid version, alongside petrol and diesel versions, covering every need of those looking for a vehicle with class and a fairly complete level of luxury.
