The BMW X6 M Typhoon raises the bar to the highest level with 750 CV of power

The G-Power tuner has unveiled a powerful and spectacular version of the German brand’s SUV, with more power and significant styling changes

Few brands can offer power and a driving experience as intense as BMW does. And if, on top of that, other companies come along wanting to make the brand even more appealing, all the better. G-Power is one of the tuners that the BMW models use to create more imposing versions with greater presence. If the BMW X6 M already delivers 567 CV of power and a peak torque of 750 Nm, we can imagine how it has turned out after going through the tuning company’s treatment.

But there are other changes to this model besides the engine, which we will discuss later. For example, visually, the front bumper has been changed to include larger air intakes, fenders have been redesigned, there is a new rear bumper and dynamic side skirts. A rear diffuser has also been designed to improve aerodynamics, along with a four-outlet exhaust system to make it sound the way it should.

On the wheels there is also a fairly interesting difference, as these are 23-inch alloy wheels, available in black, grey and silver. Overall, the company has worked to transform the model’s striking look, turning it into the car we see in the image. But we already know that G-Power doesn’t usually stop at aesthetics and has also worked on the mechanics. The suspension has been lowered, reducing ground clearance by 40 mm at the front and 30 mm at the rear, which improves vehicle control.

To improve the engine’s capabilities they have fitted turbochargers and an electronic control unit that turns the model’s output into 750 CV and raises peak torque to 890 Nm. In theory, it reaches a top speed of 300 km/h and has a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 4.2 seconds, and it covers the quarter mile, roughly 400 metres, in 11.5 seconds.

The price of this transformation approaches 53,000 euros, which makes it a very expensive piece, but one worth enjoying. Are you ready to let G-Power work on your BMW X6 M?
