Farizon, part of the Geely Group and dedicated to electric commercial vehicles, arrives in Spain and begins selling its SuperVAN model

Farizon is a Chinese brand belonging to the Geely Group which is dedicated to developing and manufacturing fully electric vehicles for professionals, that is, for the transport sector. Geely announced just before the end of 2024 that Farizon would land in the United Kingdom in the first half of 2025 and subsequently in other countries, and well, it hasn’t kept us waiting and we already have its first model in Spain.

As we mentioned at the time, the Farizon SuperVAN comes with an eye-catching yet far from flashy design, which, incidentally, has been carefully detailed to ensure that a van intended for transporting goods, and which will therefore be available in bodies of different dimensions, achieves a drag coefficient of just 0.29 Cd, which is undoubtedly impressive for a van of these characteristics.

Part of the reason is that the Farizon SuperVAN, like any other van, does not rely on flashy lines and therefore focuses on improving its efficiency for its job. Perhaps the most striking feature is the front end, with a fully LED lighting system and a backlit logo, while from the side we can see an in-principle ingenious solution without a B-pillar, resulting in an extra-large door opening. It will be interesting to see how the structure, the interior plastics and whether noise levels increase behave, since this reinforcement is absent in a vehicle that, besides carrying loads, will not receive the same care that a passenger car does.

The Farizon SuperVAN will be offered in lengths of 4,990 mm, 5,490 mm and 5,990 mm, as well as in three heights of 1,980 mm, 2,180 mm and 2,500 mm, all of them featuring a spacious cargo area thanks to its GXA-M architecture, a flat platform housing the batteries, with all systems integrated and drive-by-wire technology. To this we must add very interesting equipment, including load-level sensors that report in real time the weight loaded, a 12-inch infotainment system, heated and ventilated seats, a 360º camera and more than 30 driver assistance and support systems, among others.

Mechanically, the Farizon SuperVAN is only available with an electric motor producing 170 CV, which will be offered with batteries of up to 106 kWh, with which it is certified for a maximum of 550 kilometres of range in urban cycle and 398 kilometres in combined cycle, all according to the WLTP test cycle. Its batteries allow DC fast charging of up to 160 kW, so it can go from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

The Farizon SuperVAN is already available to order in Spain, with a price starting from 36,790 euros for its L1H1 body.
