The INEOS Grenadier takes things a step further and shows us its interior

There is growing interest in finding out what the INEOS Grenadier will be like. An off-roader that is set to be one of the most attractive and appealing on the market. In fact, this off-roader is expected to be capable of tackling the most demanding tests, such as the missions of The HALO Project organisation, which is responsible for clearing anti-personnel mines in territories that have suffered armed conflict.

Having taken a look at the exterior of this off-roader, the moment has come to peer inside and discover what this vehicle has in store for us. The interior design features a layout drawing on what has been seen in different types of vehicles. Off-roaders, trucks, aircraft, boats and even tractors have been studied to make the controls located in the most practical way possible.

Practical controls

The controls used most often are placed close to the steering wheel, so they can be operated easily and practically. Those that control auxiliary elements are further away, but still within easy reach. These elements are separated from one another and clearly labelled so there is no mistake in their use.

The switches and controls for winches and other modular elements that can be fitted later are already pre-installed and can be connected to the new elements without any problems. In addition, technology is also on board this model, and we are going to look at the equipment included in this model.

Driving technology

The information and entertainment system is very easy to access, thanks to a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Access can also be made through a rotary controller. Connectivity with smartphones is provided through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Another of the functions available in the infotainment system is the off-road navigator, with which routes can be programmed and saved through the system.

Above all, practical

The INEOS Grenadier is designed to tackle very difficult terrain. Dirt can be something that gets into the inside of the car, so it is designed so that it can be cleaned very easily. Even with a hosepipe, if necessary. Under the mats there are drain plugs so that water can be drained quickly, and the upholstery can be washed this way, rustic and effective, but perhaps the only option available at certain times.

As for storage spaces, there is a sealed compartment under the driver’s seat, one with a lock in the centre console, and a secure space on one side of the boot. The various optional accessories will provide access to more storage and usage possibilities.

Reservations for this extreme off-roader will begin to be taken in October 2021, and the first units will be delivered in 2022.
