The Jaguar F-Type Project 7, sold out in the United Kingdom

The reservation for the new Jaguar F-Type Project 7 was expected to be fiercely contested. This spectacular car from the British brand is to be built in a limited edition of just 250 units, a number we knew would fall short given the demand anticipated for it. And we were not wrong, since the 65 cars reserved for the British market have already been reserved.

And it is not only that it sold out in record time: there are more than 100 British buyers on the waiting list in case any of those first 65 customers decide to withdraw and they can qualify to drive one of these motorised jewels from the British company, which carries a local market price of 169,690 euros.

The reservation period for the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 has not yet opened in the European Union, the United States and Japan, the other three markets where this exclusive model is to be introduced. For each of them, a number of cars similar to the one for the English market will be reserved, and the same reception is expected among the brand’s enthusiasts.

After the British reservations will come the European one, followed by the opening in the American market. In the case of Japan it will be delayed, since the strict Japanese controls are forcing the engineers at Jaguar to work hard to adapt the car to the country’s legislation.

The car will reach the United States on 13 August, as it will be presented at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week event, just as the Goodwood Festival of Speed was used to present it in the United Kingdom. Construction of the car will begin at the end of this year, although the company has not revealed which factory will be in charge of its manufacture.
