The Mercedes-AMG G 63 4x4² debuts a new Brabus accessories catalogue

The popular off-roader from the three-pointed star brand debuts the new Brabus individualisation programme, which adds plenty of carbon fibre and a great deal of refinement

Having presented its exclusive Brabus 800 Adventure XLP and its radical 900 Crawler last year, the tuner specialising in Mercedes-Benz is once again choosing the Mercedes-AMG G63 to present its latest catalogue of new products. A list of design accessories with a sporty character that give an extra touch of radicalness and exclusivity to the powerful German off-roader.

Based on the most radical variant of the G63, Brabus has decided to give the G63 4×42 its signature style, with a new body kit made almost entirely of carbon fibre, new wheels and a power kit to get the most out of the 4.0-litre V8 engine under the bonnet.

Components piece by piece

From the front view, the Brabus G63 can be fitted with a wide variety of design novelties, such as a carbon fibre Panamericana grille with the tuner’s logos, more sporty bumpers, black steel bars acting as bull bars, an air deflector with four powerful LED lights and a winch capable of towing up to 4,500 kg in weight.

The side profile also receives aesthetic updates, such as carbon fibre wheel arches that give it greater presence and new Monoblock HD 22-inch wheels created specifically for off-road use, which boast a weight of just 15.4 kilograms, a remarkable figure compared with the weight of a conventional cast wheel of this type.

The rear of the G63 4×42 can be fitted with a new steel-bar spare wheel carrier, a robust steel bumper in off-road style and a rear spoiler with carbon inserts. Also available as an option, Brabus offers an aluminium roof rack perfect for increasing storage or even mounting a tent on top of our G-Class.

Pure luxury inside

Moving inside, Brabus offers in its accessories catalogue three carbon fibre packs for the interior, aluminium and leather gear paddles, aluminium sports pedals, aluminium door lock pins, carbon fibre handles, numerous door sill plates in different materials and colours, and new upholstery in black, white or camel leather.

Finally, and as could hardly be otherwise, Brabus has also gone to work on performance, offering two modified ECUs to raise its power to no less than 700 and 800 CV respectively, and 950 and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque, combined with a sports exhaust system responsible for emitting the brutal roar of its V8 twin-turbo engine.
