600 Fiat Hybrid Cars Compact Urban
The new FIAT 600 Hybrid is already available in Spain for less than 20,000 euros
FIAT now has a new addition to its range in Spain: the new 600 Hybrid, which can already be ordered at the brand’s dealerships

2023 marked FIAT’s triumphant return to the B-segment with the launch of the 600e, the fully electric version, which the brand later announced in September would be joined by a MHEV mild hybrid version. That version now reaches the brand’s Spanish dealerships, where it can already be ordered.

As we previewed at the time, the FIAT 600e and the 600 Hybrid are practically identical in design; you will only tell them apart by the rear badging, the exhaust outlet and, of course, the subtle sound coming from the petrol engine. They will even be offered in the same trim levels, starting with the entry-level trim, which includes the following elements as standard equipment:
- 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers
- Black recycled-fabric upholstery
- Multifunction steering wheel with faux-leather trim
- Four speakers
- Air conditioning
- Cruise control
- Ecall emergency call
- Emergency braking
- Puncture repair kit
- Gear-change paddles
- LED front and rear lights
- 7-inch colour TFT instrument cluster
- 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Rear head restraints
- Rain sensor
- Rear parking sensors
- Uconnect Live

The second trim level for the FIAT 600 Hybrid is called La Prima, which noticeably expands and improves on the previous one, adding to its standard equipment items such as the following:
- 18-inch alloy wheels
- Ivory interior upholstery with turquoise contrast and FIAT monogram
- Keyless Entry Go
- Six speakers
- Heated seats
- Traffic jam assist
- Wireless charger
- Automatic climate control
- Adaptive cruise control
- Tinted rear windows
- Rear-view camera
- Blind-spot detection
- LED fog lights
- Headlights with trim rings
- Electric parking brake
- Traffic sign recognition
- Automatic front lights with high/low beam switching
- LED ambient lighting
- RD remote USB port
- Driver’s seat armrest and lumbar support
- Electrochromic interior rear-view mirror
- Electric folding mirrors
- Hands-free door system
- La Prima tunnel pad cover
- Electric windows

The most important part of the FIAT 600 Hybrid, or at least one of them, is its powertrain, made up of a 1,200 cc three-cylinder petrol engine producing 100 CV, which sends power to the front axle through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 21 kW electric motor is integrated into the gearbox itself and, together with the 48 V lithium-ion battery, forms the hybrid system, which gives CO2 emissions of 110 to 114 g/100 km, around 15% lower than a traditional combustion engine.

It will always start in fully electric mode and can also run electrically for at least 1 kilometre as long as driving is gentle and below 30 km/h, that is, in typical city traffic jams. It also offers other modes, such as e-creeping, which allows short movements in traffic without pressing the accelerator, and e-parking, which uses first gear and reverse to park entirely under electric power.
The new FIAT 600 Hybrid is now available at the brand’s dealerships in Spain, with a fairly attractive price starting from 18,950 euros.
