Talking about Mansory means talking about automotive exuberance and excess from every angle. They usually choose high-performance vehicles and apply eye-catching styling changes that, in most cases, detract from the sports car’s look. In this case, and particularly, the modifications to this Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupé have remained somewhat conservative, keeping the model’s appearance largely unaltered. The same cannot be said of the powertrain, which has been heavily tuned.

Starting with the exterior, the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupé by Mansory has received a complete carbon-fibre body kit, which affects the new bumpers, wheel arches, bonnet, boot lid and rear spoiler, as well as numerous air intakes for cooling the wheel arches and the braking system. Covering the latter are alloy wheels of generous dimensions, fitted with Vredestein tyres.

Inside the cabin, Mansory has applied new leather finishes for the seats and dual-tone trim for this Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupé. The carbon fibre and the huge screens that make up the dashboard create the ideal contrast of sportiness for the powerful S-Class, as well as the removal of the Mercedes-Benz badges, which give way to Mansory logos, present on the carbon-fibre steering wheel and on the upholstery of the front and rear seats.

Once under the bonnet is where the party starts for this S63 AMG. It originally comes with a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 585 CV, but Mansory now offers it in two different packages: one with 720 CV and 1,100 Nm of torque, and another even more radical one with 900 CV and 1,300 Nm of torque. To achieve these figures, the tuner has replaced the two turbochargers with higher-flow units, gold coatings for both turbos and exhaust manifolds, modified crankshaft and connecting rods, and a redesigned intake system with high-flow air filters.

With this level of tuning, the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupé by Mansory is capable of going from 0 to 100 mph in 3.3 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupé 4Matic (and that’s despite the Mansory version being rear-wheel drive), while the top speed is set at 300 km/h due to an electronic limiter, which provides an extra 50 km/h margin compared to the standard version.
