The Peugeot 208 carves out a niche in the SME sector

Peugeot has thought about professionals and self-employed workers, offering a Peugeot 208 in one of its basic versions, but designed to provide the comfort and necessary equipment to get the job done without giving up comfort and safety while working
The back-to-school season has arrived, and so has the return to work for those lucky enough to have taken a holiday. So we are facing the real uphill climb of the year. The heaviest one. SMEs are facing much the same as we are, and they have to start tightening their spending to avoid ending the financial year in the red. And if they are looking to buy new vehicles for their fleets, the Peugeot 208 can be a good option for expanding them with a small car for business trips.
The French brand has prepared an offer aimed at small and medium-sized businesses so that this small city car can find its place in their fleets. The version chosen for this offer is the Peugeot 208 Access 1.2L PureTech 82 CV 3-door, which has been made available to business customers at a fairly attractive price, with equipment that can also be found in the version for private customers.
The engine in this version is not the most powerful in the range, but it is designed to help the company meet its commitments without excessive fuel consumption, keeping costs under control. Consumption figures stand at 4.5 litres per 100 kilometres, which guarantees fuel economy, and its emissions are 104 g/km.
As for standard equipment, this is enhanced with the air and radio pack and Bluetooth connectivity when the Access trim is chosen. This pack includes air conditioning, a WIP Sound CD MP3 radio with an integrated monochrome display, radio controls on the steering wheel, a jack input and two speakers and two front tweeters to make working time on board more pleasant.
In addition, the Peugeot 208 Access 1.2L PureTech 82 CV 3-door comes with ABS, the ESP stability control system, a low tyre pressure sensor and an on-board computer with speed limiter.
The offer is made through the Peugeot Professional brand, which is dedicated to providing solutions for self-employed workers and professionals. The price of this model starts at 8,400 euros, and it is already available to professional customers of Peugeot.
