208 Peugeot Electric Cars Compact
The Peugeot e-208 arrives in the city with 340 km of range and 136 CV
The new Peugeot e-208 has arrived to stay. The new electric car from Peugeot has 3 driving modes and 340 km of range.

The new Peugeot e-208 has already arrived and, according to the lion brand, it “features a dynamic design that sets it apart from its rivals, with exclusive elements such as a grille in the same colour as the bodywork, a dichroic lion and two ‘e’ letters on the rear fenders”.
In addition, at the rear you can see a logo that reads ‘e-208‘. The Peugeot e-208 “shares the sporty and athletic style, the quality and attention to detail of the versions with combustion engines,” the French brand assures. It is equipped with numerous driver assistance systems that can be managed from the Peugeot i-Cockpit. The driving position offers the driver a raised, three-dimensional instrument cluster.

The future driver of the new Peugeot 208 electric can adapt the car to their driving style and even to the situation they face, since they can choose between three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport. Eco mode is geared towards maximising range, while Normal mode offers an extra measure of comfort. For the most adventurous drivers, Peugeot has included Sport mode, which allows the new electric car from the lion brand to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds.

Peugeot e-208, a new electric car for the city
The compact electric from Peugeot delivers 136 CV, 100 kW, and has a range of 340 kilometres as shown in the WLTP cycle homologation. Technology also has a place in the new Peugeot electric. Users can “feel safe with the wide range of driver assistance functions, which paves the way to semi-autonomous driving”.
The new Peugeot e-208 is fitted with adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, adjustable safety distance settings and Lane Position Assist LPA. This function is able to keep the vehicle in its lane. It also includes the Full Park Assist system with the Flankguard perimeter function, an automatic emergency braking system capable of detecting pedestrians and cyclists at speeds of up to 140 km/h, and active lane departure warning with trajectory correction from 65 km/h.

The lion brand has already opened reservations for the new Peugeot e-208 through an online form. Interested users need only pay a 500 euro deposit. The first units could reach the market by the end of summer. All of them will include the GT-Line trim, and buyers can choose from one of six available colours: pearl white, Artense grey, Faro yellow, Perla black, Vertigo blue or Elixir red.
The Active, Allure and GT trims will arrive once the small car reaches dealerships. The final price is not yet known, but in France the starting price of the Peugeot e-208 Active is 31,000 euros.
Peugeot continues its commitment to electric cars
With the presentation and upcoming market arrival of the new Peugeot e-208, “the brand takes another step in its long history of electric cars, a path it began exploring during the Second World War with the Peugeot VLV, designed to ensure mobility despite fuel restrictions”.
