The Porsche 911 Speedster is already roaring around the Nürburgring and it is impressive

Porsche is already putting the finishing touches on the 911 Speedster’s presentation, and it shows us this with a series of laps around the Nürburgring circuit.

The return of some of the most iconic models is just around the corner, news that thrills us car enthusiasts and leaves us impatient. One of the main reasons for this feeling is Porsche, a company that recently confirmed the 911 Speedster will become a reality, and today reaffirms it with this spectacular unit running at full speed around the Nürburgring. A few weeks ago, we learned about the concept car that revived the iconic Speedster name on the 911, but today we can confirm that this model will go into production at the German manufacturer.

In the latest news about this very special 911, we could only rely on some images of the test mules, but today we can enjoy not only the purr of the Speedster, but also its majesty on the asphalt of the Green Hell. With this in mind, Porsche is preparing to bring to market one of the most acclaimed and coveted versions among fans of the nine-eleven.

We can see how the future 911 Speedster is running at full speed around the Nürburgring, a place of worship not only for motoring enthusiasts but also for manufacturers, who regularly come here to put their latest creations to the test. The German brand wants to make sure its new Speedster lives up to expectations and keeps intact the important legacy it inherits.

Porsche has made sure we cannot see many elements of the Speedster, but we can make out some components that indicate this is a very special model. For one thing, we can see a front bumper very similar to that of the GT3, as well as the wheels and rear bumper, which feature more pronounced lines than those seen on a more “modest” 911.

It is no surprise that it uses various components from the GT3, since the concept car was based on that variant, and the production version will most likely do the same. We can also deduce this from the addictive sound the test mule is able to produce, which echoes through every corner of the Nürburgring. This makes us suspect that the heart of the future 911 Speedster is a 4.0-litre six-cylinder capable of delivering 500 CV of power and 460 Nm of torque, figures that will be even more thrilling to enjoy with the top down.

Without a doubt, Porsche wants to revive an automotive legend and it promises to make history just like its predecessors. For now we do not have official details about the 911 Speedster, but it may be at the next Paris Motor Show that we get to see it first-hand and enjoy its presence.
