The Porsche 911 Turbo leaks just days before its possible unveiling in Geneva
Porsche is polishing the final details of the 911 Turbo, a variant that will most likely be presented in Geneva but that has leaked ahead of time.

The world of sports cars has once again been blessed by the arrival of the latest generation of the Porsche 911, a model that stands out for its versatility. This trait has always been attributed to the favourite child of the people from Stuttgart for its ability to house a multitude of variants, which allow it to meet different needs. Initially, the German firm presented the 992 through the Carrera S and Carrera 4S versions, which are built on the Cabriolet bodywork. However, thanks to a leak through social media we have come across the possible 911 Turbo, one of the fastest and most powerful options in the range.
This is why we suspect that the German firm is planning a major surprise for Geneva, one that would open the doors to the much-anticipated versions of the new 911. With this premise, we could be looking not only at the 992 Turbo, but also at one of the fastest and most powerful production vehicles in history, set to dethrone many high-flying models.
Initially, few details are visible on the supposed 911 Turbo but, because it is on the production line, we find no camouflage intended to stop us from analysing it. In this way, we can make out a series of features usually associated with this variant of the nine-eleven, a model that shows its most imposing side when the Turbo designation is applied to its body.

The first thing that catches our attention is a set of larger multi-spoke wheels, a clear indication that we are looking at a more powerful vehicle. Alongside them is a subtle spoiler that leaves behind the retractable one seen on the Carrera S and 4S versions. Last but not least, we must highlight the quad exhaust outlets set into the diffuser, promising a coarser and more overwhelming sound than the more restrained variants.
The mechanical side remains a mystery to us, but we can expect a turbocharged six-cylinder engine. This could mean a power output above 600 CV, a figure that will allow it to go head to head with models such as the Lamborghini Huracán EVO, Audi R8 and Ferrari 488 GTB.

In all likelihood, it will be at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that the German firm uses the occasion to present the 911 Turbo, one of the most sought-after variants of the sports car. In this way, Porsche offers us an important preview of the 992, since from this basis it will be easier for us to get an idea of the performance of the GT3, GT3 RS and, although it may sound premature, GT2 RS.
