The Porsche Cayenne becomes even more eye-catching thanks to Mansory's work

Mansory brings us a striking upgrade for the Porsche Cayenne and all its variants, which also improves its performance

The tuning jobs we have grown used to from Mansory are not exactly known for being discreet or going unnoticed; quite the opposite. Just cast your mind back a few months and remember how they transformed the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ for its 30th anniversary, undeniably striking. Now it is the turn of a new upgrade for one of the fastest and sportiest SUVs as we were able to verify: the Porsche Cayenne.

Many tuners have dared to play with the already sporty styling of the Porsche Cayenne, and in my opinion the best was the one done a couple of years ago by TechArt, mixing tuning and elegance in equal measure. But when Mansory takes on a model, the main goal is to attract attention with a design that unmistakably bears the signature of the German tuner, something they have once again achieved with the Porsche Cayenne through a kit intended for all variants of the third generation, including the Coupé version.

Carbon fibre plays a major role in this Mansory kit for the Porsche Cayenne, not only because it adds visual appeal but also because it improves aerodynamics without adding weight. On the exterior, we find carbon fibre trim on the front air intakes, the front splitter, the gills and side skirts, the mirror housings, the rear spoiler and diffuser, and various decorative exposed carbon fibre trim pieces, not forgetting the full carbon fibre bonnet as Mansory’s signature feature. Other elements such as the wheel arches and partially the skirts are painted in the body colour. Finally, there are 23-inch wheels with “Y”-shaped spokes painted matt black and fitted with Continental Sport Contact 6 performance tyres.

Inside the Porsche Cayenne, they have also spent several hours giving it a personal and distinctive touch. Using various types of leather, with special attention to Alcantara, Mansory has upholstered numerous elements within the cabin, mostly using a 3D diamond-shaped design found on the dashboard, seats, door panels and even the floor mats or the floor itself, all with contrasting stitching matching the body colour. In addition, as one would expect, carbon fibre also features in inserts on the steering wheel, dashboard and centre console.

But this Mansory preparation does not stop at styling: the Porsche Cayenne has also had its engine control unit reprogrammed and a new exhaust line installed, which means the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 gains power up to 700 CV along with 900 Nm of torque, allowing the Porsche Cayenne to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
