Captur Renault Hybrid Cars SUV
The refreshed Renault Captur already has its equipment and prices defined in Spain
One month after its presentation, the new Renault Captur starts sales in Spain with three trim levels and several engine options available

Barely a month ago Renault presented the new Captur, a compact SUV designed especially for urban environments with a long track record on the market, spanning ten years during which the French brand has managed to sell more than 2 million units in 90 countries, a vehicle that, incidentally, carries the “made in Spain” badge as it is manufactured at Renault’s plant in Valladolid.
This update the Captur has undergone is more than a simple restyle. The brand has given its front end, as we already saw at the time, the new brand image along with a new lighting unit that introduces a new light signature, making it now a more attractive and dynamic ensemble. At the rear, no profound changes have been made; these mostly affect the new design of the rear light lenses, as this is the most visible part, although the diffuser is also newly designed.

Inside the Renault Captur we will continue to find a vehicle spacious in all its seats and versatile despite its size; specifically, it measures 4,240 mm in length. Renault also wants the Captur to be more sustainable by eliminating leather and including upholstery that uses a high percentage of recycled materials, all accompanied by extensive technological equipment that is enhanced with this update.

The Renault Captur will be available in the Spanish market in three trim levels, the one called Evolution being the entry-level version of the range and including elements such as the following:
- Front emergency braking system
- Emergency braking assist

The second trim level is called Techno and its technological equipment is upgraded by including, on top of the previous one, elements such as the following:

- Intelligent speed assist
- Rain sensor
- Automatic parking brake
- Multi-Sense driving modes
- 18-inch alloy wheels

The third and final trim level is called Esprit Alpine and brings out the sportier side of the Renault Captur’s styling, adding equipment such as the following:
- OpenR Link infotainment system with 10.4-inch touchscreen and built-in Google
- Navigation with Spanish maps included

- Third rear headrest
- Adaptive cruise control

Mechanically, as we already mentioned, the Renault Captur will offer a selection of engines to suit all tastes, although all of them will be petrol or, alternatively, LPG; no diesel. The entry-level engine will be the 1.0 TCe 90 CV, which will also be available with an LPG alternative and with its power increased up to 100 CV. If you want more power, you will have to look at the 1.3 TCe engines with mild-hybrid technology in outputs of 140 CV and 160 CV, while the most eco-friendly option is the E-Tech Full Hybrid powertrain with an output of 145 CV.
