The Seat Exeo updates its engines and equipment

The engine updates continue across the SEAT range. Now it’s the Exeo’s turn, which gets two powerful engines: the 160 hp TSI replacing the 150 hp 1.8 turbo, and the 210 hp 2.0 TSI, the most powerful in the range. Its equipment has also been refreshed, most notably the addition of more equipment on the Reference at the same price.
The 160 hp 1.8 TSI reduces consumption by almost a litre compared with its predecessor and also cuts CO2 emissions by 20 g/km. Adding 10 more horsepower while starting at around €25,000 is no small feat, and reducing consumption this way is a good result. Very much in line with SEAT’s current direction.
The most powerful engine in the range offers the same sporty performance, with 320 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 4,600 rpm, a combined consumption of 6.8 litres per 100 kilometres and emissions of 159 grams of CO2 per kilometre. Returning less than 7 litres for an engine producing over 200 hp speaks very well of the powertrains of Volkswagen. The final equipment levels are as follows.
