The SEAT León is available for 14,600 euros, but what does the fine print of this offer say?
The SEAT León is about to say goodbye to make way for the next generation, but before that, it goes on sale at a price of 14,600 euros.

When a model is about to be replaced, brands usually take the opportunity to launch significant offers before it is relegated. This is the situation the SEAT León finds itself in, one of the compacts with the best value for money and which is about to bid us farewell. Not surprisingly, the local brand has wanted to pay tribute to it with a generous offer that very few will be able to resist; and so the SEAT León is available for 14,600 euros, a very tempting price, but one that comes with fine print that we must analyse.
Without a doubt, the León is one of the most recommendable models in the compact segment, not only for its proven reliability, but also for its attractive range of engines and its competitive price. However, the Spanish firm sets a series of conditions to access this offer, which we must take into account before embarking on the adventure of getting a SEAT León.
What do we get with this SEAT León offer?
SEAT has wanted to offer a cocktail seasoned with fairly generous standard equipment and an engine more than adequate for tackling any terrain. To be more specific, the offer that concerns us today is associated with the SEAT León Reference Edition powered by the well-known 1.0 TSI.

This engine hides a three-cylinder mechanical layout, turbocharging and a power output of 115 CV and 200 Nm of torque. At the same time, this offer comes with 16″ alloy wheels, a 5″ touchscreen, two-zone climate control, rear parking sensor, seven airbags, automatic braking system, cornering fog lights and a multifunction steering wheel.
But what conditions does SEAT set for us to get this León?
Well, as is usual with this type of offer, there are a series of requirements we must meet to access it. This one in particular is subject to financing, and we must hand over a car that is more than three years old and has been in our possession for at least six months.
SEAT also requires us to finance a minimum amount of 11,990 euros and a minimum term of 48 months. This amount can only be managed through Volkswagen Bank GmbH S.E, so any other lender would void this offer. An important advantage is that the firm includes five years of maintenance or up to the first 80,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
What other options are there compared to the SEAT León?
We recently also told you about a very interesting offer on the Volkswagen Golf of the seventh generation, a vehicle that finds itself in the same situation as the SEAT León we are dealing with today. With this in mind, we can also consider the German compact against the Spanish one, especially given that both vehicles share countless components.

The Renault Megane and the Ford Focus are two other options to consider, above all for a value for money that is set to inflict serious damage on the competition. If our budget has some room, we can always opt for somewhat more exclusive models such as the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, BMW 1 Series or the Audi A3.
