The Toyota Yaris Cross updates its design across all its trims while keeping its prices unchanged

The Toyota Yaris Cross receives a restyle for its exterior and interior design, as well as new upholstery across its trims, and can now be ordered in Spain

One of the highlights of Toyota to welcome 2026 was the restructuring of the Yaris range and the arrival of a new trim level and now it is the turn of its SUV version, represented by the Yaris Cross. This model now receives an update to its design but also to its equipment and, more importantly, embraces all these changes without its prices being affected.

In this way, the Toyota Yaris Cross debuts a new exterior look for its four trims, which, as usually happens in these cases, focuses especially on the front, which is completely new and becomes virtually solid apart from the new grille with a honeycomb pattern in the same colour as the rest of the bodywork, while the lower part of the bumper is redesigned in a more subtle way and the vertical air intakes located at the ends disappear.

This lower part of the front bumper in black now connects more effectively with the wheel arches, also in black, giving it a more rugged touch, which is what this model aims for. In addition, all of this is complemented by a redesigned light signature for the front lighting unit and, depending on the trim chosen, customers can opt for new wheel designs in 17 and 18-inch sizes. Finally, the colour palette is expanded with two new shades: Celestia Grey for the Style and Active trims; and Petra Bronze in a two-tone configuration with a black roof for the Style Plus Premiere trim.

Turning now to the interior, the Toyota Yaris Cross features new door panels in a platinum tone, with the aim of offering a modern and streamlined design feel. More specifically, the Active trim adds a new fabric upholstery that previously belonged to the Style trim, sports seats, blue ambient lighting and a wireless smartphone charger; while the Style trim introduces new SakuraTouch upholstery made from plant-based PVC, cork waste and recycled PET, along with more intense ambient lighting.

As for the GR Sport trim, it deserves a separate mention, as its styling sets it apart from the rest of the range with its specific bumpers, exclusive design details and 18-inch machined alloy wheels exclusive to this trim. This also carries over to the interior, with exclusive sports seats in suede-style upholstery, red stitching and grey finishing, as well as embroidered trim logos. In terms of dynamics, the suspension has been retuned to deliver better feel and precision in driving.

Mechanically, the Toyota Yaris Cross will continue to be offered with the Hybrid 130 engine, available depending on the trim with either front-wheel drive or intelligent all-wheel drive, delivering a power output of 130 CV and, thanks to its hybrid system, a combined consumption figure of between 4.5 and 5.0 l/100 km.

The Toyota Yaris Cross is now open for orders in Spain, with a starting price of €27,500§h40§, while the first units are expected to begin arriving next September.
