There will be no manual gearbox in the next generation of the Audi R8
Finally, like many other manufacturers, Audi has decided to offer the new 2014 Audi R8 exclusively with an automatic gearbox

Little by little, all kinds of rumours and comments about a vehicle that will not reach the market until at least late 2014 are coming to light. At least this time, what I want to tell you is something that has already been officially confirmed, beyond any doubt, a bit of light on a subject that is not only obscure
Specifically, today I want to talk to you about the gearbox that the Audi R8 will finally fit, a change that will only be offered together with a dual-clutch automatic version of the car, so the purists will lose the thrill of working the clutch and feeling all the power of a huge V10 or V8 twin-turbo, every day more appealing
On the other hand, thinking coolly, it is logical that Audi has finally opted to offer only this type of transmission, a step that other manufacturers have already taken and that will, in a way, allow the company to focus on developing a much lighter and above all more interesting automatic gearbox.
