KIA Electric Cars Concepts SUV
This electric SUV has become the most affordable in its brand and surprises at its presentation
The Kia EV 3 will arrive in 2024 to fill the compact electric SUV segment, with a design that follows the line set by the EV 9 but in a smaller size.

Having recently seen what the Kia EV 5 will offer, this model has arrived alongside other models that will catch the eye of those looking for a compact electric SUV. Below that model sits the more compact Kia EV3, which will become the most affordable model in the manufacturer’s electric range from the South Korean brand.
Being small does not mean it lacks substance. Its shapes are robust and muscular. It is based on the Kia EV5, which in turn draws on the design of the EV9. At the front, the light clusters are arranged vertically and joined by an LED strip that gives it a look above its category. The black lower bumpers give it the bold appearance that an SUV needs to show it is a vehicle ready to fulfil its role.

The large wheels also help reinforce its SUV image. On the C-pillar a black trim has been fitted, giving the roof a floating sensation that improves its appearance. At the rear, LED light clusters can be clearly seen, also arranged vertically and partly extending over the tailgate. Apart from this, there is only the company logo.
No precise dimensions have been released for this model, although the company says it will be similar in size to a Kia e-Niro, which will make it very appealing to users.

Minimalist interior
The interior is also very minimalist. The whole view focuses on the two screens found on the dashboard. They are housed in a panel running from behind the steering wheel to the centre. One displays the instrumentation and the other the infotainment system. The steering wheel is not round but rectangular, which gives it a more attractive look.
The rear has folding seats, whose lower sections can also be folded. This creates space to carry a scooter or a folded bicycle in the area occupied by the benches. The materials used in the cabin are sustainable and include a fabric made from mushrooms, a material manufacturers are using more and more.
Powertrain
There is no exact data on the electric drivetrain that will equip this model, but it is known that it will use the E-GMP platform, so it could use an electric motor offering between 215 and 302 CV, with a battery delivering a range of up to 500 kilometres.
As for price, it is expected that when it reaches the market in 2024 it will be around 30,000 euros.
