This is how the Toyota GR Supra versions could look
Thanks to the vision of the brilliant designer X-Tomi Design, we can get an idea of the different versions of the Toyota GR Supra that could be produced and that will never exist
For years we speculated about the rebirth of the Toyota Supra. Rumors, reports and prototypes, such as the spectacular Toyota FT-01 that previewed the main lines of what would ultimately become the production vehicle.
But news arrived about the joint development of the car we now know, thanks in large part to the road test, Toyota GR Supra between the Japanese brand and BMW. On one hand, many saw a myth crumble; for others, it opened the possibility of new options for what would be the most exciting sports car since the Toyota GT 86, developed together with Subaru, it must be said, and with the blessing of what will undoubtedly be the most spectacular Toyota in many years, the Toyota Super Sport.
What versions await the Toyota GR Supra?
As for the fact that BMW and Toyota joined forces to give birth to the twin pair of the BMW Z4 and the Toyota GR Supra, it fuels the suspicion that, if the Germans’ roadster becomes a reality, the Japanese convertible was also on the drawing board.
The architecture of the platform on which both are built invites speculation about a possible Toyota GT Supra Spyder, Cabrio, Roadster or, ultimately, convertible.
A car that the brilliant graphic designer X-Tomi has already imagined and which, thanks to his art and the solid basis of the actual construction of the BMW Z4 Roadster, he has gone ahead and recreated, in his interpretation, what the future Toyota GR Supra convertible might look like.

But if we’re talking about the glamour that any convertible version offers, we now move on to the more functional and less attractive one. Though depending on who you ask, because the look essential, basic, with no greater pretension than enjoying the driving experience from inside the car, gives rise to basic trims such as the Toyota Supra BaseSpec that X-Tomi proposes.

A car that recalls first-generation hachi roku prepared to lose the superficial and gain in what matters: performance.
The complete opposite of the Toyota Supra Shooting Brake. The craze for extravagant bodies has given rise to creations such as the Ferrari 612 Shooting Brake or the Aston Martin Zagato Shooting Brake that you can see at the link.

A car that, allowing for many differences, could be the rich older brother of this Toyota Supra with a body extended just enough to fit, if not a bear, a fox in a hunt across the British countryside. Poor animals, the bears and foxes, of course.
