This is the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, almost ready to be delivered to its buyer
This supercar, until very recently considered the most expensive in the world, has reached its final phase and has been seen almost ready for delivery.

We have seen it in several previous publications. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is the brand’s masterpiece and, until very recently, the most expensive car in the world. It wore that title proudly thanks to the 11 million euros that this one-of-a-kind supercar was said to cost. Today, the most expensive car in the world has doubled that amount, as you can see in this article.
The car shown at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show was nothing more than a functional mock-up that previewed the model’s design and was driven by an electric motor. Today we know it took 65,000 hours of work by the brand’s engineers to give this car its final approval, built for a mysterious buyer who will soon be able to drive it.

From the past comes a futuristic car
The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is based on a classic model from the brand, the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic that Jean Bugatti used to drive. But the influence ends there. It is fully painted and designed to showcase black as the emblem and hallmark of a striking car.

Its look is clearly futuristic, designed to get the most out of aerodynamics. It is slightly longer than the Bugatti Chirón and its wheelbase is 25 centimetres longer. All of this adds up to an attractive and powerful car. At the rear you can see the six exhaust outlets carried over from the concept model. There are also many carbon fibre elements, and the grille was manufactured using 3D printing.
Under the bonnet roars an 8.00-litre W16 engine that delivers an impressive 1,500 CV and a maximum torque of 1,600 Nm. That’s no small feat. Now, after thousands of hours in the wind tunnel and in the workshop, everything has been fine-tuned to make it the great car we have been waiting for. Above all, for the mysterious buyer who will finally be able to enjoy it.
