This render of the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series could be very faithful to reality
Mercedes-AMG continues working on the development of the new AMG GT Black Series, a variant that has been rendered to ease our cravings.

The Black Series, a special edition that was born with the previous batch of Mercedes-AMG and that we have been longing to see return ever since they bid farewell long ago. The Star brand has taken its time to relaunch vehicles bearing this illustrious name and, although the R variant of the AMG GT has tried to fill that gap, it seems everything is now ready for its unveiling. Several camouflaged units of the AMG GT Black Series have been spotted at the Nürburgring, but now a render that is quite faithful to reality aims to help ease our cravings.
Although the camouflage is designed to disguise the physiognomy of the prototypes running around the Green Hell, the truth is that it is fairly easy to make out some details of the AMG GT Black Series. Its already muscular styling is combined with great skill with various elements designed not only to declare that this is no ordinary supercar, but also to improve its dynamics.
The imposing Panamericana grille is now complemented by an even more prominent splitter that, via metal cables, is attached to the bumper. Two chunky air intakes attest to the level of cooling the German supercar will need once it goes into action, and the new bonnet vents will help make that process more efficient.

Nevertheless, it is the rear that has made sure to show that the AMG GT Black Series will be a different kettle of fish. An imposing spoiler of enormous dimensions seeks to make the one fitted to the GT R variant look ridiculous, and to show that the aerodynamics have been carefully worked on during the development of this colossal supercar. At the same time, a quadruple cylindrical exhaust outlet promises a good soundtrack is guaranteed.
Mechanically we can infer that the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 will be the one to power this variant, although it is very possibly in danger of extinction. However, its performance is a mystery, but we can anticipate power above 600 CV and the ability to reach 100 km/h in 3 seconds, a figure that would place the AMG GT at the very top of the segment.
Be that as it may, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series will be a reality very soon, and may well be tasked with extending this name to other siblings in the range. With this premise, we could be witnessing the rebirth of an illustrious saga that once showed the most radical and rebellious side of Mercedes’s sporting models.
