Toyota lands at the Madrid Motor Show with its new models

The Madrid Motor Show 2016 is about to begin and, although it does not carry the importance of other events held in other countries, brands will show us their main assets in our country. Toyota is one of the brands that will be present at the event in the Spanish capital, so we will have the latest additions to its catalogue to see up close and check their features.

On the stand of the Japanese brand we will see several models, although the main one of all of them will be the Toyota C-HR, an SUV that was seen at the Geneva Motor Show and will reach the market at the end of this year 2016. In addition, the RAV4 hybrid, the fourth generation Prius, the PROACE Verso and the new Hilux can be seen in the area reserved for Toyota other models, so the offer is designed for all users.

Toyota C-HR

This model has been built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which has allowed three important aspects of this model to be optimised: design, powertrain and dynamic behaviour. The crossover look with the essence of a coupé is complemented by the Full Hybrid hybrid drive system, which delivers the best performance with very low consumption.

With this model the Japanese brand will seek a place in the competitive mid-size crossover C-SUV segment. The power output of this model is 122 CV and CO2 emissions are reduced to 90 g/km, which makes it a very attractive car.

The other Toyota models in Madrid

Alongside the star of Toyota we will be able to see other interesting vehicles that will be part of the offer for the coming months. We start with the Toyota Hilux, a pick-up that has received an update with its eighth generation and offers more power and work capability. The Toyota PROACE VERSO is the MPV that will come in three body versions, depending on size, with three trim levels. The variety of engines is also an advantage of the model and makes it very interesting for families.

The hybrid variant of the RAV4 will also be present in Madrid, as will the new Prius, which represents the fourth generation of the hybrid model par excellence of Toyota. The AYGO will also be there, along with the Avensis Touring Sports. The Madrid Motor Show 2016 will open its doors on 10 May and run until the 16th. See you there?
