Turkish manufacturer Togg aims to increase production this year to 60 thousand vehicles

Following its arrival in Germany, Togg has already confirmed its intention to expand into other European countries, among which would be France, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.

The Turkish electric vehicle manufacturer Togg closed 2025 with a production volume of around 40 thousand cars. An important achievement that it plans to significantly surpass in this newly begun year. The company has now set itself a new target: raising that figure by 50 percent to 60 thousand units.

As we told you in an article published last September here at HighMotor, Togg’s vehicles have been on sale in Germany since then, which in principle should increase demand and, as a consequence, production as well.

In a first stage, Togg’s vehicles were only sold in Turkey. This situation changed in September 2025, when the company began its landing in foreign markets, starting with Germany. The choice of this country was not accidental, since it has a large community of Turkish origin, which offers significant potential to attract customers with cultural ties to Turkey.

Togg’s strategy in Europe is to grow year after year

In an interview with the media at the World Economic Forum, the Chairman of the Board of Togg, Fuat Tosyalı, also revealed a particularly relevant fact. According to his words, the Turkish manufacturer has already surpassed 100 thousand cumulative deliveries since it launched its first model, the electric SUV T10X, in spring 2023.

Tosyalı pointed out, on the other hand, that once those 60 thousand vehicles produced are reached in 2026, the goal for 2027 is to reach an annual production capacity of 100 thousand vehicles. The aspirations of the Turkish manufacturer will not stop there, however. In the longer term, the plant located in Gemlik, in the province of Bursa, is expected to reach a production capacity of up to 175,000 vehicles per year.

Reaching that production volume will not be possible, however, without a broader range of electric models. The company has already taken the first steps in that direction. Alongside the electric SUV T10X that we already knew, Togg recently presented the electric saloon T10F at the IAA Mobility in Munich. This new model has been very well received in the domestic market, becoming the most registered electric car in Turkey in December, with 5,345 units.

An urban and affordable electric car is on its way

Looking ahead, Togg plans to launch a third model from 2027, named T6. According to the company’s chairman, this model will be the most affordable in the entire range of the Turkish manufacturer and has been developed to reach a much broader audience. Although few details about this model have been revealed so far, everything points to it being positioned in segments A or B.

Finally, it should be noted that Togg is considering offering different variants of the T6, including a saloon under the name T6F and an SUV named T6X. This idea is supported by the trademark registration applications filed by the company in several European countries during 2023.
