508 Peugeot Sedans Geneva Motor Show
We were waiting for the Peugeot 508 and we can finally see it before the Geneva Motor Show
It will be one of the presentations we will see at the Geneva Motor Show, but before the day arrives, we can see a gallery of images that brings us closer to the model

We were discussing it just recently, and we already knew that the French manufacturer was going to bring us closer to the Peugeot 508 ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. But as tends to happen in these times, it is impossible to keep a secret for long, and images of what this model will be have leaked. We knew it was going to be based on the concept car Peugeot Instinct, so you can judge for yourself whether, in the end, they did it thanks to an image gallery that has leaked and that offers a good number of photos of the model.
The exterior design of the new Peugeot 508 has shifted slightly toward the coupé world, and although it is still a four-door saloon, it offers a sporty and bold look that gives it a very appealing dynamism. The sloping roofline toward the boot offers that original look the team worked on and makes for a car with a more dynamic design. The brand says this model pays tribute to the Peugeot 504 Coupé, which is why it has such a close resemblance to vehicles of that kind.

The interior has also been innovated, and the cabin’s equipment hides the brand’s latest features. A comprehensive driver assistance system will let the driver feel much more secure behind the wheel, but also more informed and connected. The i-Cockpit design lets the driver relax, with all the information in view. The instrument cluster consists of a 12.3-inch screen, while a second 10-inch screen provides all the information and connectivity with mobile phones. This screen also houses the vehicle’s main controls, eliminating the physical controls on the centre console.

In the engine line-up, two petrol and four diesel engines will set it apart from similar cars, with power outputs ranging from 180 to 225 CV for the petrol versions and 130, 160 and 180 CV for the diesels. The car will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show, but will not reach the market until the end of the year. A hybrid version is also expected, but it will not arrive until 2019.
