One-1

Today, the Koenigsegg One:1 is arguably the most emphatic alternative to the all-powerful Veyron.

A genuine collector’s piece with an astronomical valuation that will go down in history as one of the most powerful Swedish vehicles in the world, and which can now be acquired for the modest sum of 6 million dollars.

Today we received news that the super-luxury dealership SuperVettura is going to put a Koenigsegg One:1 up for sale, at an estimated price of around 6 million dollars. However, this is not a unit “of the usual kind”, as it is one of the development units the brand used so that the final product could come to light.

We know its chassis number is #7106, and that it has undergone numerous and varied tests throughout its life. In fact, this particular unit will go on sale with a mileage of around 100,000 km, which almost certainly makes it the highest mileage One:1 to date.

Koenigsegg used this unit to develop numerous systems and technical and mechanical innovations that later went into production, such as variable-geometry turbocharging, 3D-printed titanium, and active aerodynamics on both the rear and front of the vehicle.

The Koenigsegg One:1 is the most powerful vehicle from the firm, and it has a feature that makes it truly unique compared to its rivals: as its own name indicates, it has a power-to-weight ratio of 1:1. The performance figures are, of course, astronomical. It is capable of reaching a top speed of 454 km/h, completing the 0-300 km/h run in just 11.9 seconds.

It is powered by a 5.0 V8 engine that produces no less than 1360 CV and 1370 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends all the power to the rear wheels.
