Porsche Taycan Sedans Electric Cars
A Taycan GT3 RS? Some are already imagining it before seeing the model
The Porsche Taycan has become one of the most anticipated models of 2019 and, such is the expectation, that renders of a GT3 RS have already been made.

The world of supercars is about to welcome 100% electric powertrains, which are here to stay and to coexist -for now- with combustion engines. Porsche, one of the pioneering brands in the use of hybrid powertrains in its sports car range, is about to step fully into the world of electric vehicles. The Taycan, a model that has been announced for some time, promises not only a greater commitment to the environment, but also performance worthy of the Stuttgart brand, so it would not be far-fetched to find different power levels and even a GT3 RS variant.
The guys at Taycanevforum have produced a render quite faithful to what we expect from the German brand’s first electric car, but this has been accentuated with certain parts more typical of the Porsche GT3 RS. Despite the clear resemblance to the 911 (991.1) GT3 RS, we can see how each and every element has been adapted perfectly onto the body of this hypothetical Taycan.
Although Porsche has already revealed on more than one occasion the power range its electric saloon will offer, we can expect different power levels as seen in other models. With this premise, it would not be surprising if the German engineers are planning to attach the GT3 and GT3 RS names to the upcoming Taycan.

At first glance, we notice a much more prominent front bumper than we could see in the teasers, which is flavoured by two imposing side air intakes and a wider, more aggressive central one. The side is complemented by the same wheels worn by the previous-generation GT3 RS, just as with the Lava Orange tone we see now in this eye-catching render.
Finally, we must also mention the wider wheel arches and the charismatic spoiler that guards the rear. It is true that we cannot see any other rear details, but a large diffuser with high aerodynamic capability is implied. At the same time, we can expect an increase in power in this supposed version, which would be in the position of declaring 700 CV, a figure that would be backed by a considerable weight reduction.

Whatever the case, for now this is a supposition, as the Porsche Taycan has not yet graced us with its presence. We hope that it will be at the next Geneva Motor Show when the German brand presents with great fanfare its first 100% electric model, which will open the doors to a new era both in the automotive world and in the Porsche family.
